After spending years abroad, trying their luck in the US market, the Wonder Girls are back. Wonder Girls released their 2nd full-length album “Wonder World” on November 7, 2011. The album consists of 12 tracks, including the title track “Be My Baby” a cutesy bubbly pop dance track, topped with cheery vocals from the Wonder Girls’ members. The fast beat of the track makes it sound so classy. “Be My Baby” also used as the OST song for the upcoming U.S TV drama, “Wonder Girls at the Apollo”. The dance moves seen in the music video choreographed by renowned choreographer, Jonte, whom have choreographed for top international artists like Beyonce, & even Lady GaGa. Clearly, Wonder Girls had already moved away from their usual retro concept from the past few singles. The first track, “G.N.O” is the instrumental sounds like a mix of different songs with its ever changing sounds and synths. ‘For a long time’ is such a gorgeous throwback tune, evoking 90s R&B. Member ‘Yeeun’ composed and wrote lyrics to ‘G.N.O’ and rearranged “Me, in”. ’Yoobin’ was responsible for writing the rap for “Me, in” and “Sweet Dreams”. “Be My Baby” also used as the OST song for the upcoming U.S TV drama, “Wonder Girls at the Apollo”.
