The netizens have called their efforts disastrous and they have even personally admitted it, but the Wonder Girls members aren’t going to let their lack of variety skills stop them from trying.
Despite a few awkward crickets in the background, the Wonder Girls members have come so far in terms of the entertainment world, challenging themselves on different variety shows and going where the Wonder Girls has never gone before.
Win Win
Before KBS′ Win Win was just a talk show, it had a segment called, ′We′re going to meet you now.′ If the celebrity guest would show up to a certain area, five netizens promised do whatever they wrote online.
So when Wonder Girls was a guest on the show, they promised to jump rope in the middle of Samsung-dong if fans would come and do something bold.
As the girls succeeded in jump roping in front of fans and spectators, the netizens came out, one by one, and proceeded to keep their promise to the Wonder Girls starting from cutting up sashimi to dancing in Park Jin Young′s famous see through pants.
While the segment wasn′t rolling-on-the-floor-laughing funny, the efforts the Wonder Girls put into keeping their promises were highly noted.
Strong Heart
Honesty is the way to the heart, and Sunye certainly took the hearts of viewers when she appeared on SBS’ Strong Heart and dropped the bomb that she had a boyfriend without any hesitation.
Calm and composed, Sunye straightforwardly told everyone about her blossoming love story, which ultimately ended with wedding bells.
Her shocking yet heartwarming announcement became one of the most highlighted events of 2011 in the entertainment world and Sunye continued to take headlines with her wedding held on January 26.
Radio Star
The first rule of variety is to have individual talents that others don′t have.
So when Wonder Girls appeared on MBC’s Radio Star, that was one of the few things the MCs tested the girls on.
Although the MCs were left completely speechless, at least the girls tried, right?
Gag Concert
The best place to test out your variety and acting skills is KBS’ Gag Concert and that’s where the Wonder Girls went.
Participating in the skit, Sensitivity, the girls came out as hostages to deliver hilarious jokes and smoothly interact with the comedians. Again, they did their best, but it was pretty difficult to ignore the awkwardness that flowed as the three Wonder Girls delivered their lines.

But there is always room for improvement, and a year later, the Wonder Girls returned to Gag Concert to show a new and improved variety-dol Wonder Girls.
Acting in the skit, Discovery of Life, this time, the Wonder Girls delivered each line smoothly with better acting skills and natural expressions that had the audience roaring in laughter.
